We had a busy week here at Simon Fraser. Quick reminder that next week is a short week. We have Teacher’s Convention Thursday & Friday Feb 15 & 16 and Monday Feb 19 is Family Day. We look forward to seeing our students back on Tuesday Feb 20, 2024.

Report Cards 

Term 1 Report Cards went live to parents on Tuesday Jan 30. You can view them on your MyCBE account. Please ensure you take some time to review the report card with your child(ren) before they are removed from MyCBE account.  

Yearbook 

Yearbooks are officially on sale! If you would like to purchase a 2023-24 yearbook designed by Simon Fraser students, please use the following link and school code. There is a limited number of books available, so pre-order yours today before they are all gone!

School Hours 

We would like to remind parents that students are required to be in class and ready to learn for 7:55am. We have numerous students who are continually late and cause class disruptions. If you know your child is going to be late or absent, please call the office attendance line and leave a message. 

Grade 7-9 School Supplies 

As Term 2 begins, please ensure that your child(ren) has the supplies needed for their coursework. Please see the suggested supply list below:

Surveys for Students  

Between January 31 and March 1 students at Simon Fraser will be participating in online school perception surveys. Students in grades 5, 6, 8 & 9 will be completing the CBE Student Survey, and students in grade 7 will be completing the Alberta Education Assurance Survey. Please reach out if you have any questions.
