Update| Library
April is our poetry month!
Launched by the Academy of American Poets in April 1996, National Poetry Month is a special occasion that celebrates poets’ integral role in our culture and that poetry matters. Over the years, it has become the largest literary celebration in the world, with tens of millions of readers, students, K–12 teachers, librarians, booksellers, literary events curators, publishers, families, and—of course—poets, marking poetry’s important place in our lives.
Simon Fraser has a wonderful poetry collection. Students are encouraged to come to the library and check it out!
April 22nd is Earth Day, and our library will have all the resources needed for saving our planet earth and to gain knowledge about the importance of earth day from various titles available in library.
Students can search for various grade levels reading lists for earth day at the below link:
Please be aware of our book borrowing policy:
- There is a two-book maximum for all grades.
 - Books are checked out for a 2-week period. They may be renewed if there is not a waiting/hold on it.
 - With teacher permission, students may exchange their books any time if they are finished early
 - There are no fines for late books, but if books are overdue for an extended period, borrowing privileges may be suspended.
 - Books that are lost or damaged must be replaced or paid for from your MyCBE account. Please encourage your children to take responsibility for their library books.
 - Overdue notices will be sent out at the last of every month.
 - Please check the e-library for virtual access to our library catalog.
