Thank you for taking the time to attend school conferences this week. We truly appreciate your partnership and the opportunity to connect about your child’s learning. Working together helps ensure each child feels supported, challenged, and celebrated!
Action Required | IPP Signatures
IPP Signature sheets are due to Ms. Johnson. Please review, sign, and return the IPP signature sheet as soon as possible. Reach out to your child’s homeroom teacher if you require a new copy or would like to make amendments to the document. Thank you for your attention to these important documents.
Request| Parental Notification and Opt-in Consent for Human Sexuality
In accordance with Section 58.11 of the Education Act, Alberta schools must now obtain written consent of parents prior to providing instructions or materials that deal primarily and explicitly with human sexuality, gender identity or sexual orientation. Students are unable to participate in this portion of the curriculum unless consent is granted. Please view, sign, and return consent forms by December 19, 2025. Information/forms for each grade can be found at the links below.
Reminder - Education Matters
Did you know that Education Matters can accept donations that go directly to our school at any time? If you would like to learn more, please visit: https://www.educationmatters.ca/
This year, in lieu of donating to our tradition of holiday hampers, please consider donating to our school through Education Matters. The funds will be used to purchase grocery gift cards to be distributed to families in need throughout the school year. Our school-specific donation page can be found here. Any donations $25 or more are tax deductible. Please mark the donation with “Gift Cards” in the Comments section. Thank you in advance for supporting our community.
