  • Spectators are to cheer in a positive manner
  • Please do not talk or cheer during any teams serve
  • No unparented Simon Fraser students are to attend games hosted at other schools. The same rule applies to student spectators from other schools attending games at Simon Fraser as well
  • All spectators are expected to remain in the gymnasium unless they use the washroom

Looking forward to watching Flame Pride in action this volleyball season!

Inform| Volleyball Academy

Volleyball Academy is open to any grade 6-8 student. This is a no cut club. Volleyball Academy is a program we run that offers skill development in the sport. There will be weekly practices and exhibition games at the end of the season. This is a great chance for students who were unsuccessful in making the school team and who want to try out again next year to improve their skills and be ready for tryouts. There is a sign-up sheet on the PE bulletin board and there will be an information meeting next Thursday, January 29th at lunch in Room 19.

Invite| Winter Concert

On Thursday, January 29, we are excited to host the Simon Fraser Winter Band Concert. Our band students have been working hard to prepare a program that highlights their growth, dedication, and musicianship.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and the concert will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Donations in support of the band program are greatly appreciated but not required.

We hope you can join us for an evening of music and celebration of our students’ accomplishments.

Invite| Georges P. Vanier Open House

Please join us on February 4, 2026, to learn about our school and French Immersion programing.  See here for more information.

Remind| Human Sexuality Forms

In accordance with Section 58.11 of the Education Act, Alberta schools must now obtain written consent of parents prior to providing instructions or materials that deal primarily and explicitly with human sexuality, gender identity or sexual orientation. Students are unable to participate in this portion of the curriculum unless consent is explicitly granted. If you consent to your student participating in the Human Sexuality module of their Health class. Forms are now past due, please complete the forms below and return them as soon as possible to the Simon Fraser School Main Office if you have not done so already.
