- John G. Diefenbaker High School course pick sheets (green) are due to Ms. Johnson on or before Monday, February 9th.
- Sir Winston Churchill High School digital form link will open on February 10 @ 8 pm, to align with their open house date (February 10 @ 6 pm). Please complete the form by February 27 @ 9 am, when it closes.
Remind| Snacks & Lunches
We have noticed an increase in students stopping by the office each day in search of lunches and snacks. While we’d love to run a full-service café, our snack supply is limited and reserved for students who are truly in need.
To help us keep things running smoothly (and avoid the office turning into a daily snack bar), we kindly ask that families ensure students come to school prepared with their own lunches and snacks each day, Fridays included!
If you’re interested in donating non-perishable snacks, we would be very grateful. Your generosity helps us continue supporting students who genuinely rely on this service.

Remind| Personal Mobile Devices
To support student safety, focus, and engagement in learning, we strongly encourage families to have personal mobile devices (including cell phones, smart watches, and wireless earbuds such as AirPods) kept at home whenever possible. If a device must be brought to school, it is expected to be powered off and securely stored in student lockers for the duration of the school day, unless permission is explicitly given.
Recently, we have seen an increase in students entering the building with earbuds in their ears. This creates safety concerns, as students may not be able to hear important directions, announcements, or staff instructions during arrival, transitions, or emergency situations.
We appreciate your support in reinforcing these expectations with your child.
Remind| Fees
We kindly ask that you take a moment to review your account in MyCBE as there may be outstanding fees that remain on file. Please know that partial payments can be made throughout the school year. Keeping your fees up to date helps us to work within our resources and maintain optimal programming for students at Simon Fraser School. If you require further support or have questions, please contact Ms. Casagranda in the main office.
