We are excited to bring back our Simon Fraser Decathlon this year. We will be hosting this event at Simon Fraser School on Thursday, May 23 with our Grade 5-9 students. The Simon Fraser Decathlon is a school wide Track and Field Meet where all students are expected to attend and participate. In celebration of our Phys. Ed. Track and Field Unit, students will be competing in Track and Field events with their homeroom peers throughout the day. The weather can be unpredictable so students will need to be prepared. Layers of clothing are important. Students should have a hat and sunscreen as there will be limited shade and opportunity for shelter inside. Students will compete in their Phys. Ed. gym strip; however, hoodies and track pants are highly recommended to wear between events in the morning, or in the event that the weather is cooler. 

This is an amazing event that requires 30 plus parent volunteers in order to run. If you are interested in volunteering for this event or have any questions please contact Ms. Craig at mecraig@cbe.ab.ca or have your child talk to their Phys. Ed. teacher.
